The 2018 Ontario Hot Rod Tour event consisted of a 3-day tour starting and ending in London, Ontario, with our base in Guelph.
Friday’s Route took us through Thorndale, Kintore, Statford, Milbank, Arthur and stopping for lunch in Belwood where The Belwood Lions Club hosted a delicious BBQ. After lunch we made our way up through Grand Valley, Hockley Valley and Loretto. We experienced the tightest hairpin turn we’ve ever traveled in Forks of Credit. We then continued through Belfountain and into Guelph.
Several of our participants joined us for the Twilight tour around Elora over to the Kissing Bridge in West Montrose.
Saturday took us through Puslinch, Ancaster, Hamilton and Dunnville, where we drove through the Dunnville Mud Cat festival. From there it was on to Cayuga to the Toronto Motorsports Park for snacks. We then traveled up through Caledonia and Brantford into Cambridge where we attended a cruise night at the Pinbush Rd Canadian Tire. This event was hosted for us by Canadian Tire and was a huge success.
Sunday’s journey to London took us through New Hamburg, Shakespeare, Woodstock before arriving at our final destination, the Centre for Applied Transportation Technology at Fanshawe College.
