2017 Tour

The 2017 Ontario Hot Rod Tour started in Windsor and took us up through Pain Court, Dresdon and Grand Bend, with a quick stop at the Grand Bend Motorplex. Lunch was at the beautiful Lions Harbour Park in Goderich. Our travels then took us through Kincardine and finally to our Owen Sound hotels. To finish off Friday, several of us had diner at Elsie’s Diner.

Saturday morning took us to the Irish Mountain Scenic Lookout for a breathtaking view. From there we stopped at the Canadian Forces Base in Meaford. Next stop was the Meaford Harbour and then the Blue Mountains. Lunch was at beautiful Sauble Beach.

Saturday afternoon brought us to the cliffs of Colpoy’s Bay and a quick stop in Wiarton to visit the groundhog. We took a group photo at the Colpoy’s Bay Scenic Lookout in Wiarton, with the impressive bluffs of the Niagara Escarpment in the background.

Saturday evening, many of the participants took a tour of the many waterfalls in Owen Sound.

Sunday took us through Mount Forest and Pinto and into London. Our final destination was the Centre for Applied Transportation Technology at Fanshawe College.
